At intimate beauty, we believe that while labia come in all shapes, sizes, colors, and configurations, they are all beautiful and normal! Unfortunately however, women with all different types of labia may have experienced, discomfort, embarrassment, insecurity, and even pain resulting from the shape or size of their labia. Some women can experience pain or embarrassment during sex. Other women have even felt insecure or ashamed when wearing swimsuits or tight clothing because they feel their labia may be too prominent or visible in certain types of garments. Some women simply don’t like the look of their labia. We believe that these are all valid concerns and to that end offer labiaplasty procedures to our patients.
Labiaplasty is a safe way to surgically reduce the size or otherwise change the appearance of the labia. Labiaplasty can reduce discomfort during sex and other physical activity and can boost confidence in patients who don’t like the appearance of their labia.
