Meet Our Surgeon
Imani Rosario, MD, FACS
Dr. Rosario earned her undergraduate degree at Cornell University and her medical degree from the internationally acclaimed Georgetown University School of Medicine. She completed her post-graduate training in urology at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School and served as the program director of the urology residency program. After completing her training, Dr. Rosario was appointed Assistant Professor of Surgery in the Division of Urology at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. In this position, she was responsible for training and teaching medical students, general surgeons, and urologists in training. Dr. Rosario is Board Certified by the American Board of Urology and is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. She has been in practice since 2009 and is a member of the International Society of Cosmetogynecology. Additionally, Dr. Rosario is a member of the International Society for the Study of Woman’s Sexual Health. Dr. Rosario is an outspoken supporter of women’s rights and gender equality.
Dr. Rosario is married with two children and a caretaker to their ferocious chihuahua, Carlos. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, cooking, and traveling.
